To obtain the license to practice medicine as an independent clinical practitioner in Canada, International Medical Graduates (IMG’s) are required to pass the MCCQE2 exam of the Medical Council of Canada after passing the MCCQE1, NAC OSCE and completing the residency requirements of the province. MCCQE2 exam assesses IMG’s clinical readiness through a series of clinical stations covering 3.5 hours over two days.

MCCQE2 exam evaluates the physicians’ frame of mind, ability, knowledge and skills, as well as how well they uphold the expected level of professionalism for independent practice in Canada. ​

At Sure Success we create an environment that is as close to the real MCCQE2 exam setting as possible including experienced, high-scoring SPs, examination tables, necessary tools, x-ray images, instructor evaluations and more. We work with you to enhance your skills in multiple areas such as communication, organization, history taking, data interpretation, language fluency, physical examinations, investigations, diagnosis and treatment plan and management.

​We also focus on body language, physician approach, effective communication with patients, physical examinations, timing and sequencing of history. We assist to prepare script and practice high yield clinical scenarios for the MCCQE2. We also hold focused strategy sessions and frequent mock examination sessions for the MCCQE2 in small groups (6-8 physicians per group).

​​At each station the candidate will be introduced to a clinical problem that will require them to examine a SP (simulated patient) accurately. The candidate will be required to take a focused history, perform a focused physical examination, and /or evaluate and attend to the SPs issues. Candidates may be required to interpret X-rays or lab reports, formulate a diagnosis and/or advise admission order.
